Description of Post

This post is largely ward and Out-Patient based and should give you all the skills of history-taking, examination and diagnosis you will require for chronic and acute ENT disease in General Practice. During your 4 months you are also expected to attend one each of the following specialist clinics: Voice, Otology, Head and Neck, Audiology, Paediatric Audiology and Vestibular Physiotherapy.

 Operative experience is optional but each trainee will be expected to see at least one of each significant ENT procedure. There is opportunity for hands on experience if desired.
