THE FEEDBACK The location was great, a really good chance to work as a group away from our usual setting. Enjoyed the night hike immensely. Thought the Shakespeare extracts were interesting and good for having a think about the topic. Would have preferred to have done the 4 exercises in a shorter time than 2 hours - was good but repetitive at times. Would like to have spent more time outside or making use of the beautiful setting. Night walks etc are a great idea. the residentials are a lovely and valuable experience. Got to know some members of the group better. Realisation that I am not a team leader and more of a follower/listener. Skills to become more assertive and project my voice more. I want to practise this when I leave so I am heard more. Enjoyed the tasks and thought provoking. new found interest in bats. Importance of how you say something in a group in order to be heard and taken seriously. Importance of organising a group, setting goals, having plan. Working in a group being aware of emotions and your impact on a group. very well thought out scenarios and choices to demonstrate issues around leadership with very good debriefing. Scenarios could have been 5 minutes shorter. has given me much to think about. Thank you. Good eye opener to team leadership. different approach. Good to get to know ST3 and PDs better. Very enjoyable. good accommodation, food and company. Got to know people better. More bat knowledge. More idea about; leadership skills motivational speaking, emotional intelligence, tone of voice. Emotional intelligence - to be aware of. Enjoyed doing team exercises. Watching team dynamics. How dangerous karting is. Interactive and thought provoking learning. fun activities. Safe and comfortable environment to discuss issues. Bad points - the smell (only joking) Good reflective activities. Good for self-improvement. Good exercises involving the group communication.
