The Programme Directors (PD) for the GPTP are available to discuss your career options, concerns and learning needs for general practice in Bromley and would be happy to hear from you with any questions you may have. During the ST1 and ST2 tears the PDs are responsible for monitoring your educational development and may indeed be your educational supervisor. Throughout your time in the programme you will have contact with them every 4-6 months for a formative review, part of which will involve reviewing your e-portfolio and addressing your personal and professional development. The PDs along with the Clinical tutors and clinical supervisors are involved in delivering the curriculum for the ST 1 and 2 years. The PDs have even more involvement with the ST3 year or GP trainees year. The PDs keep a general overview of your educational as well as your person and professional development. They are responsible for managing the half-day release programme which is held on a Wednesday afternoon and for the mandatory residential away-days. The PDs organise a variety of social events for the Trainees which are always interesting and fun. |
